Whether We Are Happy Depends on Our Giving!

       ------ the feelings after reading " Everyday English Snack "

This winter holiday I read a book called “Everyday English Snack--- Classic short stories”. There are many short stories，I like them very much.. Among them, "The Happy Prince" written by British writer Oscar Wilde is my favourite. I was deeply moved by the prince and the Swallow, they are so great and kind. I like the book very much.

Happy Prince’s statue stood in the center of the city at the beginning, his body was covered with pure gold, and his eyes are two bright sapphires, there is a big ruby in the hilt on his hand upon her shining. But in order to help poor people, the Prince gave his pure gold and precious stones to the people who are in need. Finally, the little Swallow was frozen to death, while the Happy Prince has been removed due to dilapidated. When people melt the statue of The Little Prince into the fire, the little prince’s heart can not afford to melt, so people threw the heart of the golden and the Swallow into the trash. Although they died at last, they were happy all the time .Because they gave the happiness to the others, and the same time they got their own happiness.

So from the happy prince, I think of our teachers .When their students are good all over the world, they are happy. Happiness can be got from your giving But whether we are happy depends on our Giving!

When I gave others’ happiness, I was so happy. If you give more, you will get more happiness. The more you give, the more you get. We should help the people who are in need .Let’s everyone lead a happy life during the working and giving!
